By the Grace of God the MOE committee of St. Bede
was able to reach out in the community through
various programs.

On June 20th 2009, a few members from the church
were able to distribute about 100 Bibles to the
community at Crescent Place during their flea
market. We were also able to talk about the worship
service as well as about the various activities of our
church, and hand out the newly printed brochures
of St.Bede. Further since in July as the Vacation
Bible School was coming up we distributed Flyers
of the same. I am sure everyone who participated
on that day would agree that it was an enriching
experience. Following are the members who
participated in this program; Marion Britto, Victoria
Kalison, Suganthi Jayaraj, Geetha Sekaran, Olive
Howden, Rev. Derek Stapleton, John Daniel, Viji
and Jayachandran Solomon At this time I would like
to specially mention Butch Windsor who made this
possible by getting us a table.

On August 13, 2009 a few members from the
Church participated a second time in distributing
about 20 Bibles at Crescent Place. The members
participated in this noble cause were Catharine
Kennedy, Suganthi Jayaraj, Priceka Eddy and Rev.
Stapleton.

During the month of May 2009, MOE had put out a
proposal to connect with the Senior’s home at O’
Connor Community located at St.Clair Avenue East.
This came through successfully and on August
30th 2009 we were able to visit the Home, for a
worship service of songs, bible reading and a short
message by Pastor. This will be an ongoing project
every fifth Sunday of the month. I especially
appreciated the youth and the Sunday school
children of St.Bede who actively participated in this
program along with a few members.
